Our customers demand enterprise identity security connectivity that helps them secure access to critical resources; solutions that support organizational initiatives like SAP transformation; and solutions that help them quickly jumpstart their identity security journey.

We’ve delivered on those with new connectivity solutions for SAP, updates to our application onboarding capability to help customers realize faster time to value from their identity security initiatives, and SaaS connectivity for the applications our customers use every day to run their business.

SailPoint Identity Security for SAP: Securing access for transformation

We thrive on solving the big identity security challenges that will help our customers achieve business success and secure their enterprise environments. Securing access to SAP cloud, hybrid and on-premises applications and environments is one of them, especially for those organizations amid SAP transformation – whether to S/4HANA, from SAP Identity Management (IdM), or those just looking to manage access to a few key SAP applications.

Bottom line: We have you covered in any transformation scenario with the announcement of three distinct SAP integration solution packages at Navigate 2024 – all designed to help you manage and control access to your SAP resources. These include:

  1. Basic: Enterprise identity security integrations for a limited number of key SAP cloud applications – manage and secure access to key SAP line-of-business applications.
  1. Core: Deep integrations for select SAP on-premises, cloud and hybrid applications and services. Comprehensive identity security integrations that support SAP transformation initiatives.
  1. Advanced: Core, plus: SailPoint ARM for additional separation of duties (SoD), what-if analysis and access certification capabilities. Flexible SoD choices to complement overall SAP on-premises, cloud & hybrid connectivity.

SailPoint application onboarding: New features that speed time-to-value

Since its June introduction, SailPoint’s application onboarding capabilities for Identity Security Cloud Business and Business Plus have been resonating with our customers. We just introduced more features at Navigate 2024 to help organizations realize even faster time-to-value from their identity security initiatives.

  • Increased AI usage: We’ve infused additional AI to streamline and automate the onboarding process even further, including account provisioning with AI recommendations and advanced application discovery capabilitieslike the ability to quickly identify onboarded vs. non-onboarded applications.
  • Detailed activity notifications: Identity security administrators will get email notifications when an activity is completed – such as when new applications are discovered, after recommendations are generated for account correlation mapping, and after recommendations are generated to create an account.
  • Recommendations updates: Key updates here include account correlation mapping recommendations for delimited files.
  • Application onboarding & FedRAMP: Application onboarding is also now included among SailPoint’s FedRAMP-authorized products & capabilities.

SaaS connectivity, flexible solutions and more

We’ve also expanded connectivity options for the Atlas platform and SailPoint identity security solutions to give customers comprehensive identity security coverage of enterprise application landscapes and help organizations navigate ongoing digital transformation challenges.

One of our ongoing goals has been to offer our customers more connectivity choices that meet them where they are, including flexible SaaS and on-premises connectivity solutions. We’ve completed our expansion of Identity Security Cloud SaaS connectivity for key customer cloud applications – customers now have a choice between SaaS or VA-based connectivity for all the applications for which we have integrations.

We’ve also introduced a unified connector for single-source configuration: Customers can now use a single set of credentials for IIQ Cloud Governance, Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM), and Activity Insights, with more SailPoint products to come. This new approach eliminates separate connectors, reduces maintenance tasks and helps our customers save time during source configuration.

We’ve also added to our credential provider integration options with a new integration for HashiCorp Vault Cloud to go along with existing integrations for AWS Secrets Manager and CyberArk Conjur Cloud. SailPoint’s new Privileged Task Automation product leverages these integrations for secure connectivity to connected systems, without the need to store and manage credentials within ISC.
