The labels in the community are defined by SailPoint and are used to indicate the topic of your post. The labels you choose act as an overarching content theme in the community. When posting an article or a question, use labels to categorize your post in a high-level way, which will make it easier for other users to find.
Only the author can add and edit labels used in their post. Labels cannot be added to replies or comments.
To add a label to your post, start by finding the Choose A Label section located in the bottom-right corner, and then click on the predefined labels that best matches your question.
To remove a label in your post, start by finding the Labels section located to the right of the Message Body field, highlight the label you want to take out, and then press delete on your keyboard.
To see a list of the posts in that space with that label, click on a popular label listed in the Top Labels section on most of the community pages.
Tags are defined and added by Compass users. You can write and add any tag that you'd like to many documents across the community including posts, articles, comments and replies. All Compass users can tag items.
To add a tag to your post, start by finding the Message Tags header located below the Choose A Label section, and then type in any keywords that best matches your question.
Tag clouds can be found in the Tags section on most of the pages in Compass; the darker or bolder the word is, the more frequently it is used. Click a tag to find all instances in that space.
Be thoughtful when selecting a label or tag. How you organize community content affects how other users find and interact with it.
