How to: Use labels

Labels

The labels in the community are defined by SailPoint and are used to indicate the topic of your post. The labels you choose act as an overarching content theme in the community. When posting an article or a question, use labels to categorize your post in a high-level way, which will make it easier for other users to find.

Only the author can add and edit labels used in their post. Labels cannot be added to replies or comments.

Add a label to your post

Go to the Choose a Label section in the bottom-right corner and select the predefined label that best matches your question.

Remove a label from your post

Start by locating the Labels section to the right of the Message Body field. Then, highlight the label you want to remove and press the Delete key on your keyboard.

View content by a specific label

To view posts in that space with a specific label, click on one of the popular labels listed under the Top Labels section found on most community pages.

Choose labels thoughtfully - how you organize community content impacts how easily others can find and engage with it.
