Hi, I’m Austin!

Thank you for stopping by the Community & Identity University lounges at Navigate Austin this year; it was “Quack-Tastic” to meet all of you! Your journey in identity security doesn’t have to stop just because Navigate Austin has wrapped. I loved getting to meet so many of our wonderful community members and better understand how you’re using the Compass Community and Identity University to enhance your identity security expertise and experience!

Hi, I’m @TomNimmo !

As a Technical Advocate, I had the privilege of co-leading a Navigate Skilled Session that showcased the latest Identity Security Cloud features. We helped 65 students build the confidence to apply these capabilities in their own environments. But what I loved most was meeting our customers and partners face-to-face. Hearing their stories and seeing how they are solving real identity challenges every day made this work truly rewarding.

For me, nothing is more exciting than interacting with our customers and seeing the impact of our work. We design and deliver Skilled Sessions because we love collecting knowledge, refining it, and sharing it back with the community to help our customers and partners succeed. Visitors to our booth came with questions about Identity University, training experiences, and certification exams. Skilled Session participants brought insightful questions about the latest technologies and capabilities across our expanding product portfolio. Navigate not only gives us a first-hand look at what our customers need and value in technical enablement, it also gives us the chance to collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure we deliver on those needs together.

But now that Navigate is over, the journey doesn’t stop! To help you keep building on the momentum, we’ve pulled together this guide to make the most of your community experience.

Big changes are coming to Identity University

On June 29, 2025, we are launching a new and improved Identity University, SailPoint’s industry-leading online learning platform. Check out the blog post for detailed information.  

Key dates:

• Important announcement: Learners will need to complete ALL currently enrolled training before June 26, 2025 as incomplete work progress will NOT be saved or migrated to the new platform. 

• Blackout period (zero access to Identity University) is scheduled from June 27, 2025 at 5:00 PM CDT through June 29, 2025 at 12:00 PM CDT. 

• Launch date: The new and improved Identity University will launch on June 29, 2025 at 12:00 PM CDT. 

What’s new in the community?

• SaaS Release Notes - Weekly updates for new features, enhancements, and fixes that have been released to production. You can also subscribe to ensure you never miss a release.
• SailPoint certifications & credentials – We’ve made it even easier to grow your identity security expertise with shareable credentials and trusted certifications. We’re making some updates to our Compass community to make it easier to find the content you need. 

What’s changing? 

We’re streamlining and reorganizing some content areas within Compass to reflect how our solutions have evolved and to improve your overall experience. This includes: 

• Page updates: We’ve merged and renamed certain content spaces to better align with our current product suite. 

• Improved searchability: Behind-the-scenes updates to tags and metadata will make it easier to find the right content quickly. 

• Updated navigation: Certain product-specific resources are being grouped more intuitively and the navigation has been updated to reflect that. For example all on-premise software content can be found in our IdentityIQ categories, and all of our cloud-based solutions content can be found in Identity Security Cloud spaces.

What This Means for You 

Don’t worry, no content is going away! However, you may notice some familiar top-level pages have moved or been renamed. Where applicable, we’ve applied redirects or on-page guidance in place to help you adjust without missing a beat. 

These updates rolled out this week and are part of our ongoing effort to make Compass a more powerful and user-friendly destination for the SailPoint community.

Each year at Navigate we honor a select number of customers that have built successful, innovative and mature identity security programs. Customers who go above and beyond, setting the bar high and shaping the future of identity security. The Identity Security Champion award will go to an Identity Security Cloud customer that has built an innovative program with measurable success. Award winners receive complimentary travel, hotel and conference pass for one, and up to three complimentary conference passes for their team.

Eligibility requirements:

• Be a SailPoint Identity Security Cloud customer

• Have not won a SailPoint award in the last 3 years

• Affirm your corporate policy permits participation in the following activities:

  • 90-second highlight video

  • Featured in a headshot/quote installation at Navigate 2025

  • Deliver a breakout session (or another format) at Navigate 2025

  • Sign SailPoint’s publicity waiver

 

 

The nomination deadline for AMS customers is March 31, 2025.

We are extending the nomination deadline for EMEA and APJ customers to April 14, 2025.

Since February of 2023, SailPoint has been actively working on the deprecation of non-public APIs, replacing outdated functionality with more modern solutions. If you are a SailPoint Identity Security Cloud or IdentityNow customer, please note that non-public API endpoints will be deprecated on March 31, 2024.

   Whether you need assistance with object mappings, data types, or understanding how to change your API calls for our SDKs, our bi-weekly sessions are a great way to connect. View the Developer Community events calendar and register for the next office hours.
2. Visit the API deprecation help center
   Swing by the help center for specific details about the endpoints being deprecated, their suitable replacements, and an opportunity to discuss any challenges or questions with our Developer Relations team.
3. Subscribe to the API deprecation category
   Be the first to know about any depreciation updates. Subscribe to notifications in the #idn:api-deprecations category by clicking on the “bell” icon in the top right and setting your notification preference to “tracking” or higher.
