Databricks has become central to analytics, AI, and machine learning for data-driven enterprises. As adoption accelerates, so do identity and access risks, especially with the rise of AI Agents, service principals, workspace-level permissions, and increasingly complex entitlement models.

To address this problem, SailPoint has released an out-of-the-box Databricks Connector for SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, bringing comprehensive identity governance to one of the most critical platforms in the modern data stack.

The Microsoft connectivity landscape has been one of SailPoint’s strategic initiatives for the last several years, and it has been especially focused on deeper integration of Microsoft capabilities within our holistic identity security solution. These updates are themed around three core principles: embracing the new frontier of AI governance, delivering deeper, more granular security controls and modernizing our cloud connectivity.

We are pleased to announce enhancements to the SailPoint Delimited File Connector, which now includes an option for VA-based connectivity. This new approach supports various file transport mechanisms for reading files from SFTP, FTPS, SCP servers, and Amazon S3 locations. It also includes support for encryption, filtering, parsing, and data merging capabilities.

You now have more flexibility when configuring Account and Group Schemas, including the ability to set up multiple group object schemas.

We are excited to announce that the SailPoint Microsoft Entra SaaS connector now supports the discovery of agents from Microsoft Copilot Studio, a platform for building and managing agents.

The SailPoint integration with Imprivata Vendor Privileged Access Management (VPAM) enables governance for both standard users and vendor representatives, helping certify and manage access to the Imprivata VPAM solution.

The SailPoint ServiceNow Identity Governance SaaS connector now support discovery of AI Agents and Agentic Workflow Agents.

The SailPoint Snowflake SaaS connector now supports the discovery of Snowflake Cortex Agents!

We are excited to share that SailPoint Salesforce SaaS connector now supports discovery of Salesforce AgentForce Agents. Agentforce is an AI agent platform built by Salesforce on top of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI. Salesforce SaaS connector supports all the categories of AgentForce Agents such as, internal copilot, external copilot and bots.

As per the Microsoft’s announcement for Azure AD Graph API Deprecation last year: June 2024 update on Azure AD Graph API retirement, the Azure AD Graph will be fully retired after June 30, 2025, and no API requests will function at this point, regardless of the application’s configuration.

This announcement serves as a reminder to update your configuration by setting useMSGraphAPI to true (if you haven’t already).

This change is necessary to ensure a smooth transition to Microsoft Graph APIs and to avoid any disruptions once Azure AD Graph is fully retired. Migrating in a timely manner is critical to maintaining service continuity and staying compliant with Microsoft’s deprecation schedule.

We’re excited to announce the release of JDBC SaaS Connector in Identity Security Cloud. The SailPoint JDBC SaaS connector securely connects with cloud database systems that support JDBC database driver engines and provides read capabilities of accounts and entitlements.

The SailPoint Microsoft Entra (SaaS) and VA based Connector now provides a “Group Membership Filter” to filter out group memberships. You can filter out Active Directory sync groups to avoid the hybrid environment problem, as well as exclude dynamic group memberships. Also, connector now supports reading all the sign-in activity related information for the users.

Deprecation & End-of-Life (EOL) Dates

As announced earlier in Oct 2024, effective March 1st, 2025, the Oracle Solaris Connector will enter in its deprecation period.

• During this time, existing Oracle Solaris sources will continue functioning as expected, but no new enhancements, bug fixes, or support will be provided.
• Customers will not be able to create new sources in ISC for Oracle Solaris
• The End-of-Life (EOL) date for the Oracle Solaris Connector is January 1, 2026, at which point all existing sources utilizing this connector will cease to operate.

We’re excited to announce that the Workday Accounts connector (SaaS, and VA based) now manages the lifecycle of Workday Student Accounts within the Identity Security Cloud! This connector now also supports custom fields for OrganizationRole Group.

The Web Services connector is a generic protocol based connector. We are aware that you are providing the endpoint URLs (Base URL) based on the last mile application and it depends on the APIs provided by the governed system. However, it is recommended to use “https” rather than “http”.
