How To: Group Hubs

Connect with other community members who share common goals.

Accessing the Group Hub Directory

Groups hubs are a community of users who connect and engage with one another based on common interest, industry, and region. There are two types of group hubs which are open and closed. Open group hubs are the most accessible and content membership is available to all community members. Closed group hubs are more private and can either be invite-only or require a registration such as the Admirals Club. In order to post in any group hub, whether it may be open or closed, you must first join that group. By participating in a group hub, you will have many opportunities to learn from other community members by sharing ideas, strategies, and experiences.

To see all the groups hubs that are available in the community, start by selecting the Resources tab, and then click on the Group Directory link under the Network section.

Joining a Closed Group Hub

Closed group hubs are divided into two different categories which are invitation-only and self-service registration groups. Invite-only group hubs consist of members who personally received an invite from the group's creators. Self-service registration group hubs, such as the Admirals club, require users to complete an online registration form before being added to the group by an administrator.

To join an invite-only group hub, start by clicking on the group that you want to participate in, and then select the Send Request To Join button. A group administrator will review your request and will contact you for any further information.
